Travel is typically required 1-2 days per week Typical travel radius is approximately 60 miles Reliable transportation is required What You'll Do As a Premium Auditor, you will work directly with businesses to verify exposures used in the calculation of commercial insurance premiums. Responsibilities include: Reviewing and prioritizing assigned audit inventory Contacting policyholders to schedule audit appointments Conducting onsite and virtual premium audits Interviewing business owners and management regarding operations Examining payroll, sales, subcontractor, and financial records Comparing records against tax documents and insurance classifications Researching and applying insurance manual rules and classifications Performing calculations and data analysis Preparing accurate, professional audit reports Meeting quality and timeliness expectations Qualifications Preferred Experience Experience in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable: Insurance Premium Auditing Commercial Insurance Workers' Compensation General Liability Bookkeeping Payroll Accounting Skills & Requirements Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Professional and customer-focused demeanor Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other computer applications Reliable transportation Compatible laptop computer with internet access Education Associate degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field preferred Equivalent professional experience will be considered About RLD Associates, Inc.
