Details Community hospital setting (preferred experience) Ultrasound department performing general, breast, OB, and vascular imaging Patient populations include adult, obstetric, pediatric, and emergency department Procedures include abdominal, pelvic, breast, vascular (arterial and venous), renal, small parts, transvaginal, and OB studies Echocardiography experience is a plus Philips ultrasound equipment used; experience preferred Meditech EMR used; experience preferred 4x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM No on-call requirements Requirements Over 1 year of sonography experience required Ability to perform breast, general, OB, and vascular ultrasound studies required ARDMS certification preferred Current BLS (AHA only) required Proficiency with Philips ultrasound equipment preferred Meditech EMR experience preferred Active Kentucky or compact license required if applicable Candidates must live more than 65 miles from the facility to be eligible; local travelers are not accepted SSN and DOB required for consideration Copies of AHA certifications required for consideration RTO must be submitted at time of consideration First-time travelers will be considered if they are experienced sonographers Additional Information Perform a wide range of ultrasound studies including general abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular (upper and lower extremity arterial/venous, carotid, aorta), renal/pelvis, small parts (breast, thyroid, testicles), and transvaginal imaging Utilize PACS system for image management Flu vaccine required; no exemptions will be accepted for travelers Drug screening may be conducted on the first day of assignment at the facility's discretion American Traveler Job ID P-733602.
