Overview Amteck is looking to hire a Licensed KY Master Electrician to serve as a Foreman Electrician for our service team in Bowling Green, KY. The role is focused on growth and longevity within the trade, with opportunities to diversify and expand electrical skill sets through training in low voltage, fire alarm, controls, instrumentation, and other specialties.Responsibilities Supervise and mentor team members while ensuring a safe work environment and strict code compliance.Work alongside the crew, performing high‑quality electrical installations, repairs, and troubleshooting.Assist in manpower scheduling and crew organization.Develop material lists from drawings, layouts, and job‑site needs, and communicate requirements to supervision.Support production and budget goals by clearly communicating expectations and work plans.Ensure all work meets NEC and local code requirements.Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install conduit using hand tools, threaders, and mechanical benders.Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures, panelboards, branch circuits, and feeders.Demonstrate working knowledge of circuitry and electrical theory.Read and interpret project specifications, blueprints, and schematics.Lay out small work areas, including underground layouts, based on drawings and project documents.Accurately size wire, conduit, and junction boxes.Perform basic troubleshooting of lighting and general power systems.Requirements 7–10 years of electrical experience within industrial environments.Proficient in reading electrical drawings, PLC wiring, and I/O‑link diagrams.Strong leadership ability with experience coaching teams of approximately five electricians.Ability to understand, plan, and execute a defined scope of work.Skilled at communicating with other trades and coordinating shared work areas.Willingness to learn and interpret construction documents and related materials.Understanding of customer service and maintaining strong client relationships.Intermediate understanding of construction schedules and how to follow them.Ability to learn and use BlueBeam, Navisworks, and similar project‑planning software.Willingness to participate in leadership and skill‑development training.Demonstrates strong communication, decision‑making, and leadership abilities.Equipped with and able to use required personal and professional tools.Willing and able to work project schedules, including overtime and weekends as needed.Demonstrates strong teamwork, reliability, and safe work practices.Possesses basic mechanical aptitude, math skills, and the ability to read construction documents.Willing to participate in on‑the‑job, classroom, or virtual training programs.#J-18808-Ljbffr
