Seeking hands-on Plant Manager with a strong plastic injection molding background to engage, inspire and motivate our manufacturing team. You will be responsible for the entire production floor including the maintenance, tooling, and quality teams. Responsibilities The Plant Manager is responsible for meeting production scheduling deadlines and ensuring that all product quality requirements are met. Foster a positive work culture, promote employee development, and maintain high levels of team morale and motivation. Evaluate workflow methods for process improvements and streamline operations by recommending ways to improve flow of product via continuous improvement, tooling, and maintenance. Safety is a priority. Ensure an organized, clean, and safe manufacturing environment. Enforce safety regulations and work practices. Analyze production requirements and future growth to plan and allocate machine and labor resources effectively. Continuous improvement mindset, Lean, Kaizen, 6 Sigma, 5S. Qualifications The successful candidate will have 8+ years of manufacturing experience working in an injection molding environment (automotive experience preferred). A strong and broad understanding of plastic injection molding, including processing, tooling, automation, and facility systems. Proven leadership skills to develop a positive team approach that ensures quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
