Production Specialist II - Premedia- RemoteFramingham, MA, United States and 1 more (Remote)TrendingJob DescriptionAs a Production Specialist- Premedia-II you will play a key role working with Retail Copy & Print Centers, Inside/Outside Sales, DPF plants, and other required teams to recreate, preflight, impose, proof, and output digital art files, utilizing the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) and other Premedia software as needed. Utilizes online workload management site, proofing software, and other output platforms for approval. Ensures projects are delivered with the expected style, quality, accuracy, required due times, and industry standard guidelines to achieve department goals.Key deliverables and main areas of focus:Production of daily jobs from within working queuesPreflighting, imposing, proofing, and output of digital filesAssess documents/instructions accurately and proficiently, applying quality control measures to a variety of printing processesEffectively operate our required programs to complete work, including Adobe Creative Cloud SuiteAbility to manage time precisely, maintain personal accountability, while meeting timelines and due datesHave open communication with Seniors, Leads, and the management teamEssential skills and experience:Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experienceExperience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat)Knowledge of printing, prepress and digital outputsAware of specialty printing processes to have a general understanding for set-up and productionStaples does not sponsor applicants for work visas for this positionPreferred skills and experience:1+ year(s) of relevant work experienceGenerous amount of paid time off401(k) plan with a company match, full benefits plan and options, and associate resource groupAssociate store discount and more perks (discounts on mobile plans, movie tickets, etc.)About UsThe world of working and learning has changed.
