Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for a Cook position in Bowling Green, KY. This is for a long-term opportunity that will give you valuable experience to enhance your career. As a Cook you will be responsible for assisting the Chef in preparations for the daily meals. The ideal candidate is excellent at multi-tasking, is organized, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Pay is $16.43 an hr.Responsibilities for this Cook position include:· Prepares food items using standardized recipes in a timely manner· Determines food and supplies needed and coordinate meal production with serving hours.· Prepares all special dietary need as directed by the menus.· Monitors all food items to see that at least the minimum guidelines for temperature, taste, and quality are always upheld.· Ensures the proper preparation, portioning, and serving of foods as indicated on the menu cycle and standardized recipes.· Tastes and prepares food to determine quality.· Maintains or exceed standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards.· Assists with orientation and training of new kitchen employees.· Practices all safety and loss prevention procedures.· Attends all in-services as required.· Follows all local, state, and federal policies regarding food handling.· Assists with proper documentation of temperature logs, taste panel forms, and cleaning schedules.· Washing dishes and pans· Clean and sanitize· Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.Qualifications:+ Excellent Attendance Record+ Self-Motivated+ High School Diploma/GED+ Prior Experience Required+ Successful completion of recognized food safety course preferredAdecco provides one of the most comprehensive benefits packages in the industry to contract workers.
