Shipping Material Handler

The Shipping Material Handler is responsible for prompt scanning and loading of trailers from pallets for customer orders and/or interplant shipments.

Specific Responsibilities

Stack cases on pallet or slipsheet and ensure cases are in good condition.

Operate handheld scanner. Scan cases to pallet / slip sheet and to trailer.

Utilize equipment to load orders onto trailers. Maintain flow of goods onto trailer.

Attach labels and shipping documents.

Maintain accurate count of cases loaded. Calculate quantities and cases based on order requirements. May assist in keeping row sheet to verify product loaded on trailer.

Remove empty pallets from locations as they accumulate.

Minimum Qualifications

Basic arithmetic skills; ability to add and subtract

Ability to operate handheld scanner

Minimum Job Experience Required

0-3 months of related work experience.
