As Steel Detailer / BIM Modeler, you will be responsible for detailing all components of a custom metal building system including the primary steel framing, secondary steel framing, wall panel systems, roof panel systems, and all associated flashings and trims to ensure all components fit together correctly as part of a complete design solution. The Responsibilities include but not limited to creating: Construction anchor bolt drawings - Permit/approval drawings Electronic 3 D models of custom-building systems using 3 D drafting software Shop drawings and reports for in-house fabrication and production teams Erection drawings and bill of materials for field construction use Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
