Our Client, an Automotive company, is looking for a Production Supervisor for their Bowling Green, KY location.

Responsibilities:

• Key responsibilities for the group leader in this role and how do they contribute to the team's overall success-
• Successful candidate will be a production supervisor in general assembly.
• They will be managing a group of represented hourly employees in the day to day operation of vehicle manufacturing.
• Ensuring quality vehicles are built within the department and non-conformance is followed up on, Employees time is completed daily for payroll, Throughput efficiencies and measured and improved upon daily.
• Manage cost through scrap reduction initiatives, problem solving issues within the department.
• People management and issue resolution between employees and quick grievance resolution.

Requirements:

• Someone used to work a fast-paced assignment. Somebody that has previous automotive manufacturing experience, lean 6 sigma experience and understand the nuts and bolts of it.
• Education Requirements: Candidates must have an associate degree in Manufacturing or Business.
• Years of experience requirement: 5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Manufacturing experience- Looking to see if they have automotive manufacturing experience.
• Leadership should reflect hands-on team development, not just task delegation.
