What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

  • Provide exceptional customer support on the employer's primary temporary housing line by assisting policyholders, adjusters, and partners with housing-related inquiries
  • Handle inbound calls, process hotel extensions, and support billing-related questions
  • Accurately enter new housing claims into the system and monitor inbound emails for claim questions and requests
  • Extend hotel stays for clients and maintain the hotel database for accuracy
  • Audit hotel folios for billing accuracy and compliance

What is Required (Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university preferred
  • Four (4) years of experience in claims processing or related business experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Working knowledge of billing and reconciliation systems, claim systems, financial services, and insurance products
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain confidentiality

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Experience in the insurance or finance industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including MS Excel
  • Excellent analytical and interpretive skills
  • Proven problem-solving and resolution skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
