Quality Assurance Automation Engineer III

12-month Contract
Pay Rate: $48.00 - $53.00 per hr.

We're seeking an experienced Automation Engineer who can wear both manual and automation QA hats. This role is approximately 6070% manual testing and 3040% automation, with expectations to automate regression candidates in a staggered N-1 sprint model. You'll work closely with an onshore QA Lead and offshore team, handling everything from test case development to execution and automation.

Primary Responsibilities

• Participate in sprint planning and estimation
• Analyze requirements and write manual UI/API test cases
• Execute test cases and document results
• Identify regression candidates and automate them in subsequent sprints
• Coordinate with development, business, and QA teams (onshore & offshore)
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Maintain and improve the automation framework

• High School Diploma or GED and ten (10) years of experience in test automation and/or software development
• Or a Bachelor's degree and six (6) years of experience in test automation and/or software development
• 58 years of QA experience (5 years acceptable with Master's)
• Hands-on experience in manual and automation testing
• Selenium with C# (strong preference)
• API testing using Postman
• Jira and Tricentis
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
• Strong communication and coordination skills

• Prior banking or treasury management domain experience
• Exposure to test management tools (e.g., QTest)
