The Project Manager leads strategic IT projects, acting as a liaison and coordinator between internal and external project teams. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Project Manager will be part of the IT project management team, serving the IT Portfolio, and will report to the Head of Project Management & IT Governance.

Keyresponsibilitiesofthisroleinclude:

  • Develops and maintains comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, timelines, resource allocation, and budget management, using established PMO methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
  • Leads and manages IT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Defines project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
  • Creates and maintains project documentation, including project plans, status reports, risk registers, and change requests
  • Manages project dependencies and critical paths to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, managing their expectations and ensuring their needs are met
  • Collaborates closely with external IT partners on the implementation of IT projects
  • Facilitates project meetings, workshops, and presentations to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Proactively identifies and manages project risks and issues, developing and implementing mitigation strategies
  • Supports the IT PMO in achieving its strategic goals and objectives
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management or a related PMO role using established Project Management methodologies
  • Good understanding of Project Management methodologies and frameworks. Project Management Professional (e.g. PMP, PM2, PRINCE) certification is highly desirable
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence) & PPM tools (PPM Express, Project Server, Plan view etc.) is a strong advantage
  • Excellent oral and written skills in English
  • Strong organizational & coordination skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
