Overview

The Bermuda office of a global offshore law firm is looking to appoint a senior lawyer at Counsel level to its expanding corporate practice. The successful candidate will advise on a wide range of complex cross-border transactions, including banking, private equity, insurance and reinsurance, fund finance, asset finance, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Advising on corporate, banking and finance transactions for international clients.
• Acting for global corporates, financial institutions and investment funds.
• Managing complex cross-border mandates from instruction to completion.
• Leading client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives.
• Mentoring and supporting junior lawyers.

Qualifications

Applicants should be Commonwealth qualified with at least 9 years PQE, and possess significant experience across corporate and finance transactions, ideally gained within a major international or offshore practice. Strong technical ability, sound judgment, and the confidence to lead on sophisticated matters are essential, along with excellent communication and client management skills.
