We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our Operations Team working on Data Center, Vehicle Manufacturing, or General Build Construction projects. The role involves planning, developing, coordinating, and managing onsite construction engineering activities for large projects. Technical support includes participation in construction planning and design, interpretation of design, application of construction methods, resolution and documentation of design conflicts, constructability reviews, and shop drawing processing. You will also develop, implement, and administer project engineering procedures and other work controlling documents in the Prolog database, manage material status reports, process requests for information, and record meeting minutes.


Location


You can be located anywhere in the US, provided you are willing to travel extensively to client projects.


Responsibilities



  • Project Execution: Ensure engineering activities comply with requirements and support construction schedules. Provide technical support, participate in planning and design, interpret designs, apply construction methods, resolve conflicts, and develop procedures.

  • Resource Management: Manage project engineering personnel, subcontractors, and coordinate with onsite departments to resolve issues and ensure quality.

  • Risk Management: Represent the company in meetings with A/E, clients, and project teams.

  • Technical Support: Serve as the key technical person on projects, possibly managing small to medium-sized projects.


Qualifications


Must have:



  • A 4-year engineering degree or equivalent technical training and experience.

  • At least 3 years of similar construction engineering experience.

  • Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes, standards, and understanding of interdependent functional units.


Ideally, youll also have:



  • Excellent communication and organizational skills for coordinating with teams and stakeholders.


Skills And Attributes for Success



  • Strong technical knowledge of construction and engineering processes, procurement, project controls, and contract management.

  • Proficiency in budget management, financial forecasting, and resource allocation.

  • Experience in risk assessment and mitigation.

  • Ability to adapt in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
