Position Overview

The Senior Director of Marketing – University Partnerships is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives to drive enrollment and engagement for EIM's university-affiliated programs. This role requires a data-driven leader with a deep understanding of higher education marketing, strategic partnerships, and multi-channel campaign management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Marketing Strategy Development: Create and execute marketing plans that support university partnerships, driving enrollment and boosting brand awareness.
  • Collaboration with University Partners: Work closely with university partner teams to align marketing strategies, messaging, and campaigns to meet enrollment goals.
  • Campaign Creation & Management: Lead multi-channel campaigns (digital, content, email, paid media, events) to attract qualified leads and improve conversion rates.
  • Brand Messaging & Positioning: Develop clear, compelling messaging to set EIM's programs apart in the competitive healthcare education market.
  • Data-Driven Optimization: Use analytics, market research, and performance data to refine marketing strategies and prove ROI.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor marketing leader team, creating opportunities for collaboration and fostering innovative ideas.
  • Communication with Stakeholders: Act as the primary marketing contact between EIM and university partners, offering strategic insights and performance updates.
  • Full Oversight of Digital, Strategy, and Creative Teams: Lead and manage the digital, strategy, and creative teams, ensuring alignment and execution of marketing initiatives that drive success.
  • Collaboration with Admissions Team: Work closely with the admissions team to align marketing strategies and efforts, ensuring a cohesive approach to meeting enrollment targets.
  • Budget Oversight: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI and support strategic initiatives.
  • Training & Development: Foster the growth of the marketing team by providing ongoing training, professional development opportunities, and mentorship to enhance skills and performance.
  • Advanced Marketing Reporting: Oversee in-depth marketing analytics and reporting, leveraging data insights to refine strategies, measure campaign effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Marketing Technology Oversight & Innovation: Manage the marketing technology stack, ensuring effective utilization of tools and platforms while developing an innovation roadmap to enhance automation, personalization, and overall marketing efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in marketing leadership roles. Higher education or health care education considered a plus.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and university partners to achieve marketing goals.
  • Skilled in brand messaging, positioning, and differentiating programs in competitive markets.
  • Proficient in data analysis and using insights to optimize marketing strategies and demonstrate ROI.
  • Leadership experience in mentoring and developing marketing teams.
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with stakeholders and university partners.
  • Experience managing digital, strategy, and creative teams for aligned execution.
  • Strong budget management and resource allocation skills.
  • Knowledge of marketing technology and the ability to innovate and optimize tech stacks. Advanced analytical skills for in-depth reporting and data-driven decision-making.
