Sales Order Coordinator

Description:

Our client located in Portland, TN is seeking a Sales Order Coordinator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career and join a dynamic team in the renewable energy industry!

The Sales Order Coordinator is a temporary opportunity with an onsite schedule.

Responsibilities:
The Sales Order Coordinator will perform the first step in the order to cash cycle. As a Sales Order Coordinator, you will be responsible for efficiently and accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining sales orders, and customer information into the company's database on a timely basis.

  • Coordinate with legal, sales, project management, operations, and engineering teams for the systematic entry of customer contracts, customer purchase orders, and customer purchase order revisions through continual monitoring of high-volume email in-box.
  • Maintain organized electronic filing system for customer contracts and purchase orders ensuring information is readily accessible.
  • Review and validate each customer contract or purchase order against provided Salesforce generated quote within established guidelines.
  • Review new customer contracts and complete required SOX checklist identifying specific criteria in alignment with SOX controls.
  • Resolve discrepancies using standard procedures and returning incomplete documents to correct department for clarification and resolution.
  • Accurately enter customer purchase orders into Great Plains ERP system with great attention to detail and maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
  • Update project reconciliation spreadsheet with newly entered sales orders and revise spreadsheet with any project revisions.
  • Review and verify entered sales orders for accuracy and correct any deficiencies or errors.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve order-related issues.
  • Prepare documentation support for internal and external audit requests.

Qualifications:
Strong Data Entry skills and attention to detail
  • High school diploma required; some college preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years work experience in an office setting, preferably in a similar role
  • Flexibility to perform different tasks quickly and accurately
  • Previous ERP systems experience
  • Advanced data entry skills
  • Must be highly detailed, process, and quality oriented with a focus on thoroughness and accuracy
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and other Windows-based computer applications and data programs
  • Strong computer and web navigation skills
  • Experience with Great Plains a plus
  • Excellent organizational and time management with the ability to independently manage and prioritize workload.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of integrity and discretion with an ability to responsibly handle sensitive and confidential information.

Salary: $25-27/hr depending on experience
