Description of the role:

The In-home Caregiver at Village Caregiving - Bowling Green is responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes. As an In-home Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with activities of daily living, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Assist with light housekeeping duties and maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Accompany clients to appointments and outings.
• Monitor and report any changes in the client's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a caregiver or in a related field is preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
• Flexibility to work on a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects.
