Leads the development and implementation of short-term tactical action plans and long-term strategies to ensure the cell operates at optimum efficiency and customer service while maintaining the highest safety, quality, and environmental standards.* Responsible for the cell and all associated KPIs: Safety, Quality, Efficiency (OEE), Scrap, Sustainability, Cost, CI/TPM and People Development.* Lead the Cell to Best In Class performance and standards* Ensure Zero Loss safety and quality mindset is adopted by all employees* Work closely with the Technical Reliability and Continuous Improvement teams to identify and eliminate losses and sustain the results* Execute audits and assessments for implementation status of activities in the cell* Perform structured GEMBA walks with line leaders* Develop Shift Managers and Team Leads and optimize their performance* Own and execute daily cell meeting and escalate information to Plant Manager for Daily Operational Review* Manage team of 6 direct reports and up to 100 associates across 8 liquids filling packaging lines.Expectation that 70% of time is spent on the manufacturing floor.* Actively seek and secure the best talent available creating a pipeline for future roles with both internal and external talent* Develop others through coaching, feedback and stretch assignments focusing on succession planning for key positions within the plant as well as the overall Supply Chain organization.* Develop and execute training plan for all team members of the cell* Lead the implementation of Henkel's continuous improvement TPM program called HPS, including the pillars of Leadership, Autonomous Maintenance, Focused Improvement, Planned Maintenance, Training & Development and Initiative Mgmt & Vertical Start Up.* Support Henkel safety, environmental, health and quality initiatives and lead cell commitment at all levels of direct and indirect personnel to follow the Safety, Environmental, Health and Quality Management Systems.YOUR SKILLS* 3 years related experience, in a manufacturing environment.* Relevant degree in a technical field required - preference is chemical, mechanical or industrial engineeringMaster's degree, preferred* Proven strategic and tactical leadership experience within a plant /manufacturing, preferably in CPG or related industry with strong work ethic, and positive attitude towards feedback* Demonstrated skills as a change agent, displaying a high level of energy, being self-driven and constantly questioning the status quo* Demonstrated track record of transformation in performance and culture, being able to make calls in difficult situations, not exclusively, but also related to people* Strong analytical and communication skills - demonstrated ability to communicate and present to all levels of an organization both verbally and in writing, being able to probe deeply into important details quickly* Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement based on relevant experience in this area, i.e. Lean and TPM* Demonstrated track record of delivering performance via strong leadership and change management skills.* Demonstrated ability to drive team productivity and maintain high levels of employee engagement and morale* Demonstrated ability to identify issues, conduct root cause analysis and take-action to fix issues as well as building quantitative and analytical problem-solving as a key competence into a plant wide capability* Demonstrated strong project management skills, including larger capital expenditure projectsThe salary for this role is $150,000.00 - $220,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range.
