The Material Handling Division of Nashville Wire Products, an established local manufacturer of steel wire products for the material handling industry, is growing and accepting resumes for Multi Craft Industrial Maintenance Technician on our overnight shift for our Springfield, Tennessee location. This position's duties include preventive maintenance activities, troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing machinery and equipment.
This position sets-up, integrates and troubleshoots program logic controllers on machinery, hydraulic and mechanical stamping presses, and various resistance welding systems with a goal of minimizing downtime and recurring problems. Performs preventive and predictive maintenance activities to maintain maximum production and quality. Positions have a strong emphasis on electrical, however, mechanical experience is required.
Shift Hours: 3:30 pm until 2:00 am Mon-Fri with additional overtime as required to meet customer demands. This position typically works approximately 50 hours per week.
Maintenance Class B pay progression: $31.00 start, $32.00 at 90 days, $33.00 at 1 year (shift differential not included)
Maintenance Class A pay progression: $34.00 start, $35.00 at 90 days, $36.00 at 1 year (shift differential not included)
Applicants must have a steady work history in a fast paced manufacturing environment. Successful applicants must pass math test that includes adding and subtracting tape measure fractions, tape measure reading test, mechanical aptitude evaluation, drug screen, and 7-year background check for misdemeanors and felonies.
