POSITION TITLE: Assembly Repair

DEPARTMENT: Assembly

REPORTS TO: Supervisor-Assembly

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Repairs gas & electric ranges to support the production of the highest quality products, on time, that meet or exceed customer expectations.

Troubleshoots functional defects. May on occasion, backfill for associates who must repair workmanship errors.

Understands basic A.C-D.C electricity and electrical flow, as well as gas flow (connection, dangers, LP vs. Natural, drop test procedure, etc.).

QUALIFICATIONS AND BASIC SKILLS:

Repair:

* Math Level 1

* Able to read and write English to understand repair procedures and wiring schematics.

* Communicate clearly and concisely in English verbally and in writing.

* Able to bend, stoop, grip, reach and lift up to 40 lbs. on a repetitive basis.

* Able to stand for the majority of the shift.

Certified Repair:

* Math Level 1

* Able to read and write English to understand repair procedures and wiring schematics.

* Communicate clearly and concisely in English verbally and in writing.

* Able to bend, stoop, grip, reach and lift up to 40 lbs. on a repetitive basis.

* Able to stand for the majority of the shift.

* Must pass repair tech training
