**JOB DESCRIPTION**

Sorry, this service is unavailable for the moment Forklift operator The Material Handler (Forklift Operator) is responsible for providing support to Production department with material transfer and production inventory. Tasks and Responsabilities

* **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

* Provide Production department with all necessary tools needed for production schedule

* Transfer all materials needed both physically and systematically (Navision)

* Empty all trash hoppers into trash compactor daily

* Restock and transfer items into production work cells as needed

* Ability to keep all inventory items neat, labeled and organized according to 6-S guidelines

* Ability to use good time management skills

* Ability to utilize computer software - Navision for Movements and Kanban; transfer make-to-stock items

* Inventory control measure Promote inventory accuracy by conducting bin content checks and cycle counts then report back to Inventory Control.

* Ability to correct any inventory discrepancies or bin verifications

* Must be able to work different shifts as needed and work in conjunction with Material Handlers on other shifts

* Ability to plan and organize material handling tasks. Ability to create a list of tasks and prioritize daily

* Ability to be detail oriented when completing tasks

* Ability to communicate well all needs to the Materials department and Inventory Control

* Identify damages to materials and report to the appropriate departments

* Support production department with any tasks or duties as needed

* Support the team lead in scanning and system operations (Navision) as needed

* Abide by all Bath Fitter policies and procedures

* Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

* Perform other duties as assigned

* Education and/or Experience must have a high school diploma, a related field, or equivalent or demonstrated ability to learn all required duties and responsibilities.

* Must be able to lift 10-125 lbs.

* Ability to maintain open, direct, positive, and objective lines of communication with management and other departments

* Must be forklift certified and maintain certification

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

* Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written/email)

* Strong Customer Service Skills: ability to communicate in a professional, knowledgeable, and courteous manner with employees, etc.

* Excellent interpersonal communication skills

* Ability to work with minimal supervision.

* Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence

* Mathematical Skills Strong ability to add, sub-tract, multiply, and divide

* Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions

* Computer Skills Knowledge of Navision and Microsoft Office tools
